An assistant law professor whose motto is “be gay and do crime” has been appointed by the World Health Organization (WHO) to develop guidelines for sex changes on minors. 

Florence Ashley, a “transfeminine jurist and bioethicist” at the University of Alberta, was selected by WHO along with 20 others to create guidelines on transgender health.

A significant portion of the recently assembled team identifies as transgender, while every member maintains connections within the transsexual community.

Several members have worked with the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), while others have “pioneered” medical sex changes, womb transplants, or child sex changes, according to their biographies. 

Ashley has published several articles claiming transitioning adolescents is ethical.
