Which cheney daughter is gay
Congratulations, Mary Cheney!
Cheney female homosexual daughter pregnant
Conservative groups have expressed dismay at news that US Vice-President Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter is pregnant.
Mary Cheney, 37, and partner Heather Poe are expecting a baby in delayed spring 2007, the vice president's office said.
Concerned Women for America said the pregnancy was "unconscionable".
Meanwhile, a gay-rights group said Mr Cheney faced "a lifetime of sleepless nights" for serving in a Ivory House opposed to same-sex marriage.
Correspondents say that Mary Cheney's openness about her sexual orientation has for years posed a dilemma for conservative activists who admire Dick Cheney's stance on many issues, but consider homosexuality a sin.
The CWA's Janice Crouse told the Associated Insist news agency: "It's very disappointing that a celebrity couple like this would deliberately bring into the world a child that will never have a father.
"They are encouraging people who don't have the advantages they have."

Cheney's daughter tells the inside story
"Are the eyes too much?"
Mary Cheney is peering into the makeup artist's mirror in the early hours of the morning, getting "done" for her appearance on "Good Morning America" with Diane Sawyer. Taped to the mirror is the list of today's guest stars. The name Nick Lachey -- aka the soon-to-be-ex-Mr. Jessica Simpson -- she recognizes. Totally clueless on actress Emmy Rossum. Needs some prompting on Josh Lucas ("Sweet Home Alabama"? Hottie who ends up with Reese Witherspoon?).
Let's say she's a little bit out of her element. Mary Cheney, daughter of Vice President Dick Cheney, had made it her business to fly under the radar. She's a pro at shunning the limelight. As the openly same-sex attracted daughter of a man running for office in a party opposed to gay marriage, she took the hits and let them slide off her as if she were coated with Teflon. Kind of like daddy.
Alan Keyes refers to her as a "selfish hedonist"? No response. Gay-rights activists lampoon her by putting her face on a milk carton ("Have you seen me?")? No response. Her sexual orientation becomes fodder for a presidential debate? No response.

The Cheney Family Fight Over Same-sex attracted Marriage Played Out on Facebook on Sunday
Liz Cheney, the older daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney and a current GOP candidate in Wyoming, ruffled more than a few family feathers yesterday during an appearance on Fox News Sunday when she restated her opposition to same-sex marriage, a position at odds with that of the rest of her family.
“I like Mary very much, I devote her family very much,” Liz said about her younger sister, a lesbian who married her partner, Heather Poe, last year. “This is just an issue on which we disagree.”
That didn’t sit too well with Mary and Heather, who were at home watching the show with their smartphones nearby. Heather was the first to take to Facebook, where she unleashed upon her wife’s sister:
I was watching my sister-in-law on Fox News Sunday (yes Liz, in fifteen states and the District of Columbia you are my sister-in-law) and was very disappointed to hear her say “I complete believe in the traditional definition of marriage.”
Liz has been a guest in our residence, has spent time and common holidays with our children, and when Mary and I got married in 2012 - she didn’t hesitate to tell us how happy sh
Dick Cheney Defends Daughter Liz in Gay Marriage Family Feud
Former Vice President Dick Cheney waded into a spat between his daughters, Liz Cheney and Mary Cheney, who is openly gay, saying that Liz's kindness to her sister shouldn't be used to "distort" her position supporting "traditional marriage."
One diurnal after the two sisters appeared to take their disagreement public, Cheney and his wife, Lynne, issued a statement defending their daughter Liz, who is running for Senate in Wyoming.
"Liz has always believed in the traditional definition of marriage," the Cheneys said in a statement today. "She has also always treated her sister and her sister's family with love and respect, exactly as she should have done.
"Compassion is called for, even when there is disagreement about such a fundamental matter and Liz's many kindnesses shouldn't be used to distort her position," they added.
The remark made no mention of Mary Cheney, 44, or her wife, Heather Poe.
