The main gay beach can be found between Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles. Here is where the boys (and slightly older gentlemen) lay down in the sun, hand around at the prevent or swim in the ocean. Here you can detect almost everybody you saw last evening in the C.C. Yumbo, with or without a swimsuit.

It's not so much a beach as a piece of desert 8 kms long by 3 kms wide with 4 meter elevated sand dunes!

The beach is also adequately known cause of the Kiosk No. 7 with its trendy music, chilly beer and tasty snacks, where the party continues.

 

 

How to get there?

To fetch there take a taxi to Plaza del Faro then walk east until you come to 'Spot No. 7'

The gay beach can be reached by a 10 minute walk from the Maspalomas lighthouse or via a 20 minute hike via the dunes from the Riu Place Maspalomas hotel in Playa del Ingles. And that walk is entertaining (but more about that later).

The same-sex attracted beach is manageable recognisable at the the rainbow flag at the brief kiosk near the water. If you want to be comfortable, you can hire a chair. You can also lay down between the men nearby the water on the dune at the right. As every gay beach, you're able to get a heat tain

This is also the official Maspalomas nudist beach which is probably one of the main reasons it has become the gay beach!

Where to find Maspalomas Same-sex attracted Beach?

One of the main attractions in Gran Canaria is the Maspalomas sand dunes and this is where you will find the gay beach in Maspalomas.

However, finding the gay beach is no easy feat!

The sand dunes spread across 1,000-acres and are a protected nature reserve. You can spend hours (with plenty of water) following the many marked out walking trails through the dunes and getting lost.

The gay beach in Gran Canaria is located behind the dunes of Playa del Ingles/ Maspalomas. The beach is clothing optional. Chairs and umbrellas are for rent. On busy days they are occupied early. The tiny beach bar Kiosko 7 is a very trendy hangout. 

Sometime the wind can be strong, which makes the stay less pleasant, mostly because of the volcanic sand. Then the guys often move to the dunes for sunbathing (and maybe a short-lived cruising too..)

How to receive to the Maspalomas queer beach?

You can take a nice walk through the beautiful dunes from the Riu Palace Hotel at the end of Av. de Tirajana.  The road starts at the hotel gate.  It's about a 30 minute walk with a few hills up and down. On your right is the eminent gay cruising area. The gay beach is at Kiosko 7 with the rainbow flag.

How to procure to the Maspalomas homosexual beach by taxi

You can also take a taxi to Faro, the lighthouse in Maspalomas. It's still about 20 minute amble but not on loose sand and no up and down on the hills. The beach bars have numbers, the homosexual beach is at Kiosko 7
