Allison Janney Reveals Why She Never Married or Had Kids
Allison Janney plays a mother on Mom, but she's not one in real life. During her appearance on Tuesday's episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Janney opened up about not getting married or having kids -- and why she doesn't have any regrets about it.
"I think if I would have create the right guy at the right time who wanted to have kids, I probably would possess with the right boyfriend because I wasn’t ever really confident that I wanted to have kids," Janney explained. "I would rather regret not having kids than have kids and regret that. I’m OK with it."
Janney -- who has had several serious relationships throughout her life and was engaged to actor Richard Jenik before their 2006 breakup -- said she's still discovering who she is and what she wants.
"I really am this occasion in my life getting to know who I am and what I want. I’d love to eventually find someone to share my life with but if it doesn’t happen, I’ll be just fine," the 61-year-old actress said.
"Right now, I’m just virtually dating," she quipped. "My latest crush is Rip on Yellowstone."

Allison Janney has gotten to the age of 55 and never gotten married.

‘I have male lover friends that I would marry in a heartbeat and be perfectly content. That might be my next step,’ she tells The Advocate in a new interview.
‘I’d possess a partner to share my experience with, but I’d go have affairs. Maybe I’d acquire on Tinder?’
She adds: ‘I have been madly in treasure with a rare men who were not out at the time. We made out a lot, but I had no concept they were gay.’
Janney, whose six Emmys came for The West Wing, Mom, and Masters of Sex, has always clicked with homosexual men dating endorse to her in advance days as an unknown actress in New York.

While there, Conan probed the star about some comments made by Anna Faris about the pair sharing a kiss. As soon as the situation was brought up, however, Janney felt the call for to offer some clarification:
Now it’s [kissing] become my thing, because at one of the pre-Emmy parties I ran into Cloris Leachman, and I’m such a huge fan of hers. I just went in to kiss her, and we had kind of a huge make-out session. I’m not going to do that with men who are married or women who are gay. I will only make out with women who are straight or men who are gay. That’s less threatening.
